Acceptance: By checking the agreement box and proceeding with registration, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
CIE Learning, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“CIE”), provides guidance and application support for experience-based degrees awarded by FAFMI, a French private higher-education and adult-training institution.
This is an experience-based assessment route rather than a conventional course of study. CIE helps eligible applicants document their existing professional, volunteer and other relevant experience and prepares a professional dossier showing how that experience relates to the applicable degree requirements.
CIE provides application support and dossier preparation. FAFMI independently reviews the completed application and makes the final decision on whether a degree is awarded.
Registration with CIE does not itself constitute admission to, or the award of, a degree.
You agree to provide truthful, complete and accurate information about your identity, qualifications, employment, professional responsibilities, volunteer service, achievements and other relevant experience.
CIE may request identification and additional information or evidence where reasonably required for the application.
CIE will prepare your dossier using the information you provide. You will have an opportunity to review it and request corrections before submission. By approving the final dossier, you confirm that it accurately represents your experience.
CIE will not knowingly submit false or materially misleading information.
CIE normally conducts a preliminary review before inviting an applicant to register and may recommend the degree level and field that appear to best match the applicant’s experience.
This recommendation is based on the information available at the time and is not a guarantee of approval.
If further information indicates that another degree or field would be more appropriate, CIE may recommend a change before submission and will discuss any material change with you.
FAFMI may approve an application, request further information or revisions, or decline it.
The applicable program fee is the amount displayed or confirmed to you when you register.
Payment may be made:
Where Klarna is selected, Klarna determines the available payment schedule, eligibility requirements and financing terms. Any agreement with Klarna is separate from your agreement with CIE and is also subject to Klarna’s terms and conditions.
CIE may begin work once the required registration information, identification and payment arrangements have been received.
Because professional dossier preparation is a personalized service that may begin shortly after registration, payments are normally non-refundable once CIE has begun preparing the application if the applicant subsequently decides not to proceed.
CIE may consider exceptional circumstances individually.
However, if FAFMI declines an application that CIE has prepared and submitted through this service, CIE will refund the full program fee.
This guarantee does not apply where the rejection results from fraud, forged documents, material misrepresentation, knowingly false information, or the deliberate withholding of information material to the assessment.
Refunds are normally made through the original payment method. Where Klarna was used, any related financing adjustment is also subject to Klarna’s procedures and terms.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any cancellation, refund or other consumer right that applicable law does not permit the parties to waive.
CIE normally aims to provide the first draft of a dossier within approximately one working week after receiving everything required to begin.
The complete process commonly takes around one month, but all processing times are estimates rather than guaranteed deadlines.
Delays may occur where further information or revisions are required, the applicant takes additional time to review the dossier, FAFMI requires additional assessment, or circumstances arise outside CIE’s reasonable control.
If an application is approved, FAFMI issues the applicable degree and supporting documentation.
The program fee includes the services stated in CIE’s current offer for your application, including CIE guidance, professional dossier preparation, official assessment, degree issuance and the applicable French notarial legalization arrangements.
Apostilles, certified translations, independent credential evaluations and other optional external services are not included unless CIE expressly confirms otherwise.
Applicants are responsible for providing accurate contact and delivery information for any physical documents.
FAFMI awards private institutional degrees. They are not French national diplomas, RNCP qualifications or degrees issued by a U.S.-accredited university.
The degree may be presented to employers, universities, credential evaluators and other organizations, but each receiving organization decides whether and for what purpose it will accept the qualification.
CIE therefore does not guarantee employment, promotion, immigration approval, professional licensing, government recognition, admission to another educational institution, credential equivalency or acceptance by any particular organization.
Applicants intending to use the degree for a regulated profession, government position, immigration purpose, professional licence or another purpose with specific qualification requirements should verify those requirements with the relevant authority.
CIE handles applicant information, identification documents and application materials in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
Information may be shared with FAFMI and with other parties where reasonably necessary to process payments, prepare and administer the application, complete official assessment, prepare or authenticate documents, arrange delivery, operate secure systems or comply with legal obligations.
CIE may use staff, contractors, professional service providers and appropriate internal or third-party systems in delivering and administering its services. CIE remains responsible for the services it provides, and applicants are given the opportunity to review and approve their dossier before it is submitted for official assessment.
CIE is not responsible for decisions or actions independently controlled by FAFMI, Klarna, banks, credential evaluators, employers, universities, government agencies, licensing authorities, immigration authorities, notaries, postal or courier services, or other third parties.
CIE will provide its services with reasonable care but cannot guarantee outcomes that depend on third parties or circumstances outside its reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.
These Terms and your agreement with CIE are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Subject to any consumer right that applicable law does not permit to be waived, disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Wyoming.
If you reside outside the United States, nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive you of any mandatory consumer protection that applies to you and cannot lawfully be excluded by contract.
CIE may update these Terms for future registrations if its services, partner arrangements, payment systems or applicable requirements change. The Terms accepted when you register will normally govern your application.
