General

You shall not copy, modify, transmit, distribute or in any way exploit the products or any other copyrighted materials provided other than for your individual education. Any other purpose is expressly prohibited under these terms. You shall also not permit anyone else to copy, use, modify, transmit, distribute or in any way exploit the products or any other copyrighted materials. We reserve the right to refuse to provide these products or materials to anyone.

We provide these learning materials ‘as is’ and without any warranties, whether expressed or implied, except those that cannot be excluded under statute. We also do not warrant that the materials will be error free, including technical inaccuracies.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you meet the technical requirements, including compatible hardware, software, telecommunications equipment and Internet service, prior to purchasing any content. We are unable to provide refunds where your access to the products is inhibited due to insufficient system requirements.

K12 Program Terms

We provide curriculum and tools for homeschooling families. While we offer support and guidance, you are responsible for due diligence on what is required in your country and local area in order to home school legally. By using our K12 subscription services, you agree that an individual subscription plan is to be used by an individual student.

Our K12 program mission is shaped by religious convictions, and operates under institutional religious freedom. To become and remain a teacher on our platform, educators must meet and maintain specific qualifications. While formal teaching credentials are not a requirement, all of our teachers are certified, and many hold teaching degrees in their state or province. We firmly believe that adults with expertise and interests can provide high-quality learning experiences.

It's important to note that we are not a publicly funded school, and therefore, we do not collect educational documentation from our teachers. However, we reserve the right for our teachers to refuse any requests for proof or documentation.

We reserve the right to dis-enroll disruptive students from the platform if complaints are received, without provision of a refund or explanation.

TESOL Terms

Enrollees must be at least 16 years old at the time of registering.

Enrollees must have a competent native level of English and possess a reasonable competence in English language reading, writing and speaking skills. All candidates must have the ability to take advice from tutors and from peers and have the capability to make improvements to their result if required.

Every student who graduates will receive a PDF certificate, sent to the email address used during enrollment.

To receive a hardcopy of your certificate, there is an additional charge as indicated on the website. Hardcopies are generally processed and delivered within 4 weeks. However, we do not take responsibility for any postal service delays or errors.

Degree Program Terms

Enrollees must be at least 18 years old at the time of registering.

All candidates must have the ability to take advice from tutors and from peers and have the capability to make improvements to their result if required.

From the time of enrollment, students will have 4 years to complete their studies. Beyond this period, an account will be subject to reactivation fees.

Access

We will take all commercially reasonable steps to provide you with uninterrupted access to the course materials. However, your access may be restricted from time to time, for reasons including but not limited to, power or internet outages, and actions from computer hackers and others acting outside the law. Your access may also be interrupted due to software issues, server downtime, increased Internet traffic, programming errors, regular maintenance and other related reasons. Where this is the case, we will take steps to restore your full access within a reasonable period of time.

Our aim is to provide courses and materials of the highest quality. As such, improvements or changes to the learning materials may occur at any time without prior notification in order to ensure that they are up to date and accurate.

We will not under any legal theories or circumstances be liable for any damages arising out of, or in connection with these products or any other copyrighted materials or your access or attempt to access or use same, or any related services, whether or not the damages were foreseeable, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

Payments

We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. Please check our website for up-to-date prices. A payment must be made at the time of enrollment. Once you have successfully registered, you will receive an email confirmation. If you do not receive an email within 24 hours, please contact us at info@cie.world.

We use a reputable third-party payment provider, Stripe, for transactions made on our website. Payment is made at the point of purchase when you enroll. You agree to provide payment in the stipulated currency and you will be liable to pay any relevant conversion charges, as well as applicable sales tax in your region.

Cancellations & Refunds

No refunds are permitted for payments already made.

Support

We endeavor to respond as quickly as possible to any questions or concerns. In normal circumstances, email replies are usually sent within 24-48 hours. Phone support can also be requested.

Acceptance

These terms and conditions are updated annually, and we reserve the right to modify these as necessary. By enrolling and making a payment you are accepting all terms and conditions as stated here.
